Job Responsibilities

 

1.Responsible for drafting and formulating media communication-related policies and management procedures. 

2.Responsible for conceptualizing news content, including special reports or news articles related to university project development. 

3.Responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading bilingual materials (English and Chinese) for promoting the international branding of the university.

4.Establish and manage the university's official media platforms, such as the official website, WeChat Official Account, and Weibo.

5.Establish and expand media relationships, report, plan, and execute public relations and promotional activities for the university. Prepare media materials and organize press conferences, coordinate media interviews and visits.

6.Responsible for strengthening cooperation and contacts with various sectors to enhance the university's image. Promote the university's achievements, mission, and values to various sectors through various activities.

7.Organize and analyze data on resources such as advertisements and news coverage. Use the data to monitor and adjust media promotions, and generate analytical reports. 

8.Capable of quickly and actively communicating with relevant media, providing crisis public relations alerts, and handling them properly.

9.Responsible for the management and maintenance of multimedia archives.

10.Lead the team in developing and establishing good government relationships.

11.Complete other tasks assigned by superiors. 

Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree or above in journalism, communication, marketing, or other related fields. 

2.Over 12 years of work experience and management experience in media relations, large-scale event organization, and marketing communication.

3.Extensive experience and a proven track record in media relations, large-scale event organization, brand promotion, marketing, and social media applications. 

4.Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English.

5.Priority will be given to candidates with experience as news professionals, familiarity with higher education in mainland China, and experience in branding and marketing for large companies. 

 

This position requires an English interview and a written test.
