Breadcrumbs Breadcrumb Home / Head and Other Administrative Positions / Director/Associate Director of Information Technology Services Office Director/Associate Director of Information Technology Services Office Job Responsibilities 1.Formulate and implement the university's information technology (IT) plan, establish IT policies and standards, and organize their implementation. 2.Manage the university's IT construction budget, organize, and coordinate related IT construction efforts, and carry out budget performance evaluations. 3.Manage the university's IT team, train, and motivate team members, and lead the team towards achieving its IT construction goals. 4.Manage the university's shared basic database, allocate and utilize university data resources, and handle data security-related tasks. 5.Manage the university's network and information security, organize, and conduct IT confidentiality-related promotion, education, and capability enhancement training. 6.Continuously improve the construction level of the university's IT infrastructure to ensure the service quality meets the needs of campus users. 7.Continuously assess the application value of new IT technologies, guiding the university to maintain competitiveness in the field of IT construction. 8.Complete other tasks as assigned by the university leadership. Qualifications 1.Must have a master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Communications, or a related field. 2.Must have more than 10 years of IT work experience, including at least 5 years in a management capacity. 3.Preference will be given to those with IT work experience in universities, research institutions, government, or large corporations. 4.Must have the ability to coordinate, design, and plan university network and information technology infrastructure. 5.Must have experience in proposing, managing, and constructing large-scale informatization projects. 6.Must have experience in building and managing networks, communication, and informatization teams. 7.Must be familiar with the communication mechanisms between universities, government departments, and informatization organizations. 8.Must have excellent organizational and coordination skills, as well as superior communication abilities. 9.Must have a strong sense of integrated service, innovation, and work responsibility. 10.Must have good English writing and oral communication skills. This position requires an English interview and a written test.
