Director/Associate Director of Academic Regulations and Records Office
Job Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the Academic Regulations and Record Office (ARRO); Plan and supervise the tasks and staffing of the Office.
  2. Ensure consistency in academic excellence with CityU. Communicate and collaborate with CityU to develop and maintain the academic policies and regulations of CityU (DG).
  3. Develop academic management and information systems. Ensure integrity, accuracy and effectiveness of the student records, and smooth operation of the daily teaching and learning activities.
  4. Work with the academic units to supervise the whole academic process of students, including proper recording and handling of student enrollment, course registration, tuition fee management, course arrangement, examinations arrangement, grades and awards offer, review of graduation, application of scholarships, etc.
  5. Proactively participate and assist in the establishment of CityU (DG), and complete other tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications
  1. Master's degree or above.
  2. At least 12 years of management experience in a similar position in a higher education institution.
  3. Proven leadership and management skills.
  4. Strong strategic thinking and planning capability, with a high level of motivation to achieve goals.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

 

This position requires an English interview and a written test.
