Executive Committee

Terms of Reference

The Executive Committee is entrusted:

1.    to review the work of the other standing Committees of the Governing Board and to consider Committee reports and papers before they are presented to the Governing Board;

2.    to consider and take action on behalf of the Governing Board, when a meeting of the Governing Board is not imminent, on any matter normally considered by the Governing Board, with the exception of matters which are precluded from delegation by the Articles of Association. Such action shall be reported at the next regular meeting of the Governing Board;

3.    to deal on behalf of the Governing Board with all contractual matters personal to the post of President/Executive President and matters relating to the appointment and dismissal of Vice-Presidents, and to make recommendations to the Governing Board where appropriate; and

4.    to advise the Governing Board on any matters referred to it by the Governing Board or any committees of the Governing Board.
